Should Science and English be dropped from Primary Curriculum?

Next year, like 2013,Indonesian government plan to remove Science and English then change to Religion only for Primary. It can affect student's ability to study a language. Also if the students going for holiday in outside from Indonesia they cannot speak English. It is only for public school. Now,I want to explain the positive and negative impact of Indonesian government plan.

Positive

Students haven't even learned to understand the Indonesian language yet. Sometimes they cannot answers the questions in exam. So they have to study English at school when they already graduate from primary school. Also they can learn English in an English course.

The government plan's about removing Science and English for primary only for public schools. So for international schools typically using English still can study Science and English at school. It because some students in international schools cannot speaks Indonesian. It's important for them study more about English.

Science is adding unbearable stress to Indonesia's children. Some of the students doesn't understand Science. It hard for them to study it.

Negative

Students didn't even knew how to speak foreign language and also how to operate electricity and experiment. It cause the students cannot speak English when they going for holiday in outside from Indonesia and accident for the Science. Some students like experiment.

Students didn't know how to use computer because it use only English language. So they just click a wrong things then cause the computer is broken.

Removing English is like adding insult of injury. It cause some of the parents more concerned about the plan to scrap English. Some of the students who going to middle school in outside from Indonesia have to learn English first when they in primary.

Conclusion

The other solution for the students for not removing Science and English is just use as extracurricular.
